Welcome to the 2026 pre-Summit Discussion Sessions
19th September 2026
15.00 - 17.00 hrs Central European Time
The 14th WA-Summit will be held in Berlin, Germany on 21 & 22 October 2026.
We will be holding our usual pre-Summit discussions online on 19 September.
We are aware that not everyone will be able to attend in person in Berlin, so here you have the opportunity to participate in the pre-discussion sessions, and have your voices - and those you represent in your country - heard. Of course, we also welcome to this session the Delegates and Participants who will join us in Berlin.
There are four discussion topics for this session. We have chosen them from the the top challenges facing the administrative profession that came out of the results of the recent Global Skills Matrix survey, from over 3000 of our peers in over 60 countries.
When you register, you can choose the discussion topic that you wish to join. This will be 'first come, first served' so we can't promise you will get the group that you want, but as these challenges are affecting everyone in our profession, we are sure your contributions will be extremely valuable.
Meet our Facilitators:
1. Define Yourself - or Someone Else Will: How to intentionally shape, communicate & elevate our professional identity. Facilitated by Lucy Brazier.
2. From Overwhelm to Ownership: How to stay clear, well and in control in today's fast-changing profession. Facilitated by Rhonda Scharf.
3. From Invisible to Indispensable: How to make our impact visible, measurable and valued. Facilitated by Sarah Richson
4. AI is the Tool - You are the Talent: How to use AI to work smarter, without losing our human edge. Facilitated by Juanita Mort.
The input from this online session will be taken by the Facilitators to the Summit in Berlin, where the Delegates there will continue the discussions before working together to produce outcomes, solutions, resources or tools that will support everyone in the administrative profession.
